Management Institutes
Collegiate DECA offers two Management Institute experiences at the International Career development Conference that complement the overall programming offered to students. These Institutes are currently offered in the fields of Culinary/Food Service and the National Management Institute that deals with a different field of management each year. Each Management Institute includes presentations by industry professionals, a case study analysis, an off-site experience with one or more local organizations and a team presentation. Business Simulations Business Simulations events are designed to measure participant's marketing and/or management proficiency in one of six (6) professional areas:
Each case study event provides participants the opportunity to analyze real-world case situations, and to present situations to a professional (judge).
Each Prepared Business Presentation event provides participants the opportunity to prepare a written prospectus, sales presentation or Web site, and to present to a professional (judge).
